The U.S. Idea Futures Exchange lets you buy and sell contracts in claims whose value reflects traders estimates of certain currently unknown values (e.g. the expected inflation rate in 2002 if Gore is elected president). It works much like trading, say, pork bellies, on commodity futures markets. USIFEX deals mainly in U.S. financial, economic, and political issues.

The money (Quatloos) used in this system is NOT related to real money.
